This time in Cambridge !( you asked, we listened ) Meet other Nursing Families, Walk, Talk or Sit and Hang with us. If you would like to attend, and are experiencing any barriers to doing so, please contact bfbuddies@Healthcaringkw.org We can help with transportation, We can have a Buddy ready to meet you or be on text to support you if find these things hard to do ( you know you want to ). Breastfeeding Check ins are available but not a requisite for joining our events. Come one, Come all. See you there. |
July 23, 2024(1 event) 10:00 am: Virtual Latch and Learn: Learning to Latch + Building Supply – Learning to Latch + Building Supply!: Learning to latch comfortably, and building a milk supply takes time, practice, and SUPPORT! We can help you improve your latch, and show you new positions to breastfeed in. We will also help you to feel confident that your baby is getting enough milk. Come and learn how to build and protect your milk supply as well as normal feeding patterns. We’re also happy to answer other lactation questions!

Become a Buddy
Did you know that the Breastfeeding Buddies program of the Waterloo Region recently received a grant from the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation to expand peer breastfeeding support?
The campaign will mobilize many levels of partnerships to improve hospital-to-community supports and engage with priority populations to increase breastfeeding rates across Waterloo Region.
Stay tuned for updates on “The Building Supportive Breastfeeding Communities Campaign.”
