Breastfeeding Buddies Invites you and your baby to our popular Walk and Talk ( Winter ) Weekly Meet UP.   Join us in a warm and comfy setting at Cambridge Family Early Years Centre ( 173 Water St., Cambridge - Plenty of Free Parking )  Meet like minded families, ask breastfeeding questions.  This meet up is a great isolation buster for you and baby during the cold, long days of winter.

Breastfeeding Check Ins Are Always Available but not a requisite to joining any of our events - all feeding methods and families are welcome.

Many parents are given misinformation and face criticism about breastfeeding their children beyond infancy. Join experienced breastfeeding buddies for a conversation about why breastfeeding beyond a year is normal and an important health decision for you and your child! Toddlers welcome!

Families will also have the opportunity to learn about working with your body to continue your breastfeeding journey with and around your work schedule. This workshop will be offered Virtually over Zoom. Advance registration for each session is required here.

Are you expecting a baby? Do you have breastfeeding questions? Was the last time harder than you expected? Sign up today for this free 2 hour VIRTUAL breastfeeding class.

At the Me Breastfeed prenatal workshop you will learn about what to expect the first 7 days after birth, how to overcome breastfeeding challenges and where to go for help and support. This workshop is lead by peer breastfeeding volunteers that have lived breastfeeding experience and are trained by the Breastfeeding Buddies Program of Waterloo Region.

We are here to help you meet your breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and pumping goals!

Did you know that the Breastfeeding Buddies program of the Waterloo Region recently received a grant from the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation to expand peer breastfeeding support?

The campaign will mobilize many levels of partnerships to improve hospital-to-community supports and engage with priority populations to increase breastfeeding rates across Waterloo Region.
