Meet other Nursing Families, Walk, Talk or Sit and Hang with us.

If you would like to attend, and are experiencing any barriers to doing so, please contact bfbuddies@Healthcaringkw.org   We can help with transportation, We can have a Buddy ready to meet you or be on text to support you if find these things hard to do ( you know you want to ).

Breastfeeding Check ins are available but not a requisite for joining our events.   Come one, Come all.

Are you expecting a baby? Do you have breastfeeding questions? Was the last time harder than you expected? Sign up today for this free 2 hour VIRTUAL breastfeeding class.

At the Me Breastfeed prenatal workshop you will learn about what to expect the first 7 days after birth, how to overcome breastfeeding challenges and where to go for help and support. This workshop is lead by peer breastfeeding volunteers that have lived breastfeeding experience and are trained by the Breastfeeding Buddies Program of Waterloo Region.

We are here to help you meet your breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and pumping goals!

Did you know that the Breastfeeding Buddies program of the Waterloo Region recently received a grant from the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation to expand peer breastfeeding support?

The campaign will mobilize many levels of partnerships to improve hospital-to-community supports and engage with priority populations to increase breastfeeding rates across Waterloo Region.
